Good with Words was started in 2007 by Rebecca Hanlon and Michele Smart, almost by accident, after they had children. They shared a friendship, a love of language, and a belief that a well-chosen word can make all the difference.
Previously Michele worked as an English/History teacher before moving into journalism and copywriting, while Rebecca worked in corporate communications.
They still share a friendship … but for the last 8 years Michele has run Good with Words. Rebecca is now Head of Sustainability Engagement & Disclosure at Lendlease.
